Research project: The aim of my thesis is to examine how the aesthetic concepts of the early Frankfurt School (especially Adomo’s) have been used, transformed and rejected within the subsequent tradition of critical theory (Habermas and onward).

Principal supervisor: Staffan Carlshamre, Department of Philosophy.

Interests: German philosophy, Hegel, Marx, Heidegger, Adorno, the Frankfurt School, critical theory, hermeneutics, the philosophy of music.
