The Research School of Aesthetics
The fields of research covered by the Research School within the Humanities faculty include Art History, Cinema Studies, History of Ideas, Literature, Musicology, Philosophy, Theatre and Dance Studies, as well as aesthetic specialisations in the fields of language and history.
The Research School has 21 doctoral students. The dissertation is written in one of the faculty’s fields of study. No more doctoral students will be admitted. The Research School of Aesthetics invites guest professors and lecturers, arranges study tours (Paris, New York, Istanbul, Tokyo/Kyoto and St. Petersburg) and organises an annual conference.
